Progress on the sub. Most of the PE is on, the rest will be on after painting. So now the sub is off to sink the paint booth!

Hey Ezra, she's coming along right nice!

FYI, what you're calling the bridge structure, is called, collectively, the superstructure - that is, anything above the main deck is known as superstructure, and each superstructure deck level is known as the 01 level, 02 level, 03 level, etc. as you go upwards.

"Thought you'd like to know."

Thanks Tim! ships are definitely not my main subject so I appreciate all the help I can get! ( It also might be I didn't pick the easiest ship...)

As I started Pe I noticed a couple things! one I took incorrect measurements for the orly tuds and they were to big so surgery was required to remove them...
( Damn it I just noticed the railings kinda bent...)

And another thing was the TMW photo etch is to big for this area and it interferes with the Torpedos. If any one has built this kit and PE and could offer any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Ezra,
Concerning the railing near the torpedo launchers, they were usually folded down onto the deck or removed and stowed when the ship cleared for action. Not sure which process was used on the Fletchers but from your photos, I would recommend removing interfering sections of railing as there doesn't appear to be sufficient deck space to lay them down on deck.
just my $0.02.
Really enjoying your build.

Hi Ezra, speaking from my own fumbling experience, I often find it better to leave the railings until towards the end of the build and then work my way outwards, thus avoiding any potential crumples

This unfortunately occurs quite often happens with PE on ships and a little trimming of the PE may be required...

Other than that, she's looking fantastic!
