Well, after about three years of not actually finishing any aircraft, I now have two on the bench, primed and ready for paint.
The first I did manage to take a couple of pics of the KP Models 1/48th SU-25 cockpit before I closed her up.
First the seats, before paint.
Next the front office.

Didn't manage to take any pics of the F-16 during the build, which got started at the Truro show some time back.
Pics of both aircraft on the bench.
I am hopeing to get some paint on them Sunday, but don't hold your breath

.

Nice going Andy, I remember the issues you were having with that F-16 cockpit at the show.
They should both turn out great, looking forward to seeing them both 'finished' for Yeovilton

Yep it is, even if my "bench time" consists of a couple of hours a week at my local model club a few Mondays a month

Not really Andy, feels strange building things, instaed of just buying the damn things

Yeah I had forgotten about that, mind you I still haven't done all that etch for the canopy yet, or painted the bang seat.

BTW Mal, the F-16 is the one you sold me all those years ago with the Verlindon cockpit set

Sat firmly down Keith. You have to be doing something constantly to burn out, and no one can accuse me of that

.
Well as sort of promised, camo is on both aircraft. Still need to do the light grey undersides for the F-16.

Well after having a few days off, I decided to organise and tidy my various hiding places for kits, and A.M bits I decided to pull the SU-25UB out of the closet of shame and finish the damn thing

.
So after several hours of putting the stencils and decals on, then loading her up, she is now finished.

Yeah I did notice when I started it that's its been a year and a half since it last came out of the "Closet of shame".
The F-16 is still in there, and will be coming out to get finished. I need to extend the bottom of the tail as its too short for a Venezuelan F-16.

Thanks Paul. No wonder we haven't got past the moon if this is classed as warp speed

. I'm just glad this one is finished and out of the ever growing "closet of shame".
If we both get our projects started ten year ago finished for Telford, there wont be any room on the table for anyone else

Thanks Andy, I went as fast as I could

Well 14 years after I bought it and 7 years after it went back into the closet of shame I have finally finished it, thanks to being furloughed .
Venezuelan F-16 with a Verlinden cockpit, Eduard radar, and Aztek decal scheme.
One of the main gear doors has been lost, no idea where that went

Yep, I cant get a longer build unless I wait about 20 years for the next one as that was my only surviving unfinished build.
And too top that off I tided and cleaned my desk, surprising how much room there is when all the paints, tools and models are put away
