Helloi Jim and Staff,

Sorry to be a pain, but there's a little nuisance I've noticed over the years, i.e. when posting a comment or reply, the black bar containing code buttons disappears after an initial post or reply has been uploaded, i.e. [url], [url=], [email], [b], [i], [quote], [img]. I was wondering if there was any way to remedy this in order to keep the buttons visible during the upload process?

I ask not so much for me (I have a workaround), but for newer or less familiar members whom seem to be having difficulties posting multiple images possibly due to this issue, i.e. they are creating a new reply for each image as they upload.

Kind regards,
ómike

Hi Mike,
I just tried replicating this but am seeing the black bar. Perhaps this is an OS/Browser thing. What are you using?

Thanks,
Jim

Safari 11.0.1 (primary)

FireFox 38.0.1 (secondary)

I tested both and found the same results.

Here's a screenshot.

Thanks,

Ahh... okay you mean the Edit post screen. Hmmm... I will have to look at that and see how easy it would be to implement.
