I do like the look of these gun trucks, especially the Vietnam era ones with the bold names painted on them

Thats the M54 line of trucks. I may have to treat myself to one in the near future. But i've got a lot lined up, so could be for the stash. AFV Club do one, and Real model do some great resin conversions.

Like Mal I do prefer the Vietnam era ones, I just think they look big and nasty, proper guntruck .
Will you be putting it on a base with some figures?

That is the plan Andy. i've got some "restocking/loading" figures in the stash and a pallet truck and some bits and bobs to go with. The base models might get an outing before it's all finished though.

Some progress this weekend. Truck one has a pallet and pump up truck, truck two has camo paint.

Magic

I've used the vallejo Nato colours set. You get 6 small bottles of acrylic paint, Nato Black, Green and Brown, and a light green, Burnt Umber and Dark grey to highlight/fade the primary colours.

Also liberal sprayings of tamiya buff thinned about 95% misted on to give that duty effect.

I think these are finished build wise. Possibly a base and or figures to go with at some point.
