Well now the spray booth is set up and hanger queens have come out to play (see other post) a future pitlane queen has also joined them.

This is the T Zero anti grav racer from Industria Mechanika in 1/35.
This will also be completed as my Bulldogs 10th anniversary build, as of two days ago the main section was complete but except for the interior and engine there was no paint on it and the exhaust, engine , shields and canopy had not been installed.
So the body got a coat of primer then was masked before getting a coat of chrome out of a rattle can this was followed with ali and clear orange out of the airbrush for selected areas. Klear followed today with the decals. The air brake (not fitted at the moment) was finished in red but I didn't like the effect so this has been chromed ready for a coat of clear orange tomorrow to match the shields. Decals applied and will get a klear coat tomorrow while the nose will get masked off and will be painted either clear green or orange. Still got some weathering and shading to do once the final paint and decals are on.

The end result to go onto a small dio base. This is based on the video games F-Zero and Wipeout.

Thanks Mal, it's different and I like the game that inspired it.

Ok main paint and decals are now complete, started some weathering but waiting for the additional decals to dry. The chrome paint has given me some issues in that the Klear has removed the high gloss finish and when masking for the green nose the Tamiya tape pulled off the Klear together with a decal! Luckily there was a spare on the sheet.

Hiya Lucky,

I believe the expression used by the younger person to be apt

Way Cool !!

Also if the galleon wasn't there, ................................your spray booth looks a little like a star wrars sci fi hanger !

Thanks Paul, the galleon is a 1/350 Cutty Sark that due to poor and/or incorrect detail is now a paint test piece.

The build is on pause while I wait for some gloss varnish to arrive, something I don't use normally and seeing how the Klear has behaved on the chrome I want to give the thing a coat of varnish before going on with weathering.

That looks brilliant mate. Are you going to build the race track for it?

That is hopefully the idea Andy, I've got some steel mesh for the track and will be picking up some Plastistrut 'H' bar while at a show this coming weekend.

Gloss varnish arrived today so the T-Zero has received a coat (yes I did use the blowy thing, no hairy stick in sight) and will get another coat tomorrow before the weathering takes effect. Vallejo recommend two coats with at least four hours between coats.

No photo, as a photo of gloss varnish is not going to be of much interest.

Thanks Mal, I've taken a peek at your Me-109 und as usual it looks very nice thus far.

On with the T Zero, I'm calling the vehicle finished now for the ground work

So here's the finished T Zero.

I did try some rare earth magnets on this so as to get it to float but due to it's weight and shape it just kept sliding off the magnetic field so it's back to a clear rod when it gets mounted (magnets are still in there).

That is a cool build!! I had a look at some of their kits, all very interesting and inovative!

I quite like the Remora and associated kits.

Thanks Gavin, they do have some nice kits and yes I do have some of the others in the range, Dragonfly, Hornetcoptor, Rook, one of the fish. I want to add the Deathshead Moth to the collection and get them all built! Unfortunately I missed the earlier anti-grav racer they did.

Don't be afraid to order from him as they all arrived after about just a week
