Thanks for doing the report so quick Andy.

A really good day, good company as always, and a pleasure to spend time with Sean, always nice to meet new friends.

Yes, i did sheel out for the 'Big E', but in my defence i did only pay 60 quid for it, it mint condition, except for the box. Gonna spend more on the Etch and the Airwing!!!!

Ah the Big "E"

Sam bought me that along with a couple of the Air wing sets for Christmas a couple of years ago. Unfortunately its still sat on top of the wardrobe (along with the USS New Jersey) un-built waiting for space to display it (when we get our own place ) Never crossed my mind of getting etch for it though

Email received today From Pete Readman - Organiser of IPMS Farnborough Modelfest

" Thank you very much for exhibiting at IPMS Farnborough Modelfest 2010, and for making it yet another successful show. Your contribution to the event is much appreciated.

I await our Treasurer's analysis of the exact figures, but I can say the contribution to the Hospice will be at least as great as it was in 2009, which is wonderful given the economic climate.

If you have any comments or feedback (positive or negative), please don't hesitate to contact me or any of my fellow committee members. We do try to learn, and to adapt the show from year to year, and we will be having a meeting this week on how to make Modelfest 2011 even better still.

As soon as I have a date for 2011 I will inform you.

Again, many thanks,

Best regards,
Pete

A very nice show as usual, and good to put names to faces on the Bulldogs stand. I don't think you should wind up new memebrs quite so much, mind you

Next time I must remember to actually stay put on the stand for a few minutes ...

Sean

Sorry about the wind ups, i didn't think we'd got started!!

As you've said elsewhere, so long as the stand is manned it's fine to disappear. How often did i go walk about??

And then come back with a box?

Andy B - someone on Britmodeller is interested in the decals on your Bf 110. He's wondering where you got Iraqi markings, as he makes the only ones in existence (!). Can you elucidate?
