Hello guys my name is Anders Thim I live in Sweden and I am a born again plastic addict.
My main interests are 1/35 german armour from the Fall of 44 to the wars end. But I also have some Aircraft in 1/32 scale mostly Tamiya.
As I will be going to Telford in 2020 was I told that I would be a good idea to try to join your group. My Swedish IPMS # is 1819.
At the moment am I trying to improve my building skills. Lots of things to learn. My work is mediocre at the moment but I am improving and I am enjoying myself a lot.

Thank you David.
I must confess that I am not into "metal" at all so this band is unknown to me.

well Sabaton sing about battles and wars, try their song Primo Victoria, which is about the d day landings or perhaps Gott Mit Uns, they sing it in Swedish as well as English, it's on their album Carolus Rex, I'm sure you've heard of him.

Well Carolus Rex is latin for Kung Karl (King Charles in English).
There have been at least three Swedish Kings that where named Karl.
The most well known is Karl XII who was king between 1697-1718.The march Carolus Rex was for many years thought to be from Karl XII´s times but modern research has found that it was "composed" by Willhelm Hartveld around 1905(?).Most likely did he used excerpts from a march called "Moscow Homeguard" or similar. It is a striking tune not my favorite march but in the top 5 at least.
